Has a functioning opening/closing frunklid. (with frame machine grade panel gap issues) And RUNS! Application of throttle causes a stream of gasoline to pour out on the crank pulley, causing squeakiness and redistribution of gasoline in all directions, but it runs. I’ve tightened that fuel pump housing as tight as it goes on last summer’s adventures, so new fuel pump it is. I was hoping to take out for slurpees today, but it could be a bit safer. At least it’s getting worked on, and will soon move under it’s own power again. (got where it is on the starter motor).

SafER, it’ll never be safe. Also “the man” will not issue a vanity plate that says “unsafe” Saskatchewan is not renowned for getting jokes.

Meanwhile...
I believe this one was revoked. I did see a PA one before, but that may have just been for show and not an officially issued plate.

Should’ve applied for “FUN ADER”, I think.

N8R H8R is however available, subject to the approval of the pearl-clutching church ladies that run this place.

Nice progress. I have always liked the body lines of The Corvair. Even when they are a bit crooked.

needs a good pull. its about half an inch longer on the passsenger side, better than the 4-6 inches it was out when I started with the logs and chains. (effective but no substitute for a real frame machine)

I’ve also acquired a gorgeous 66 Chevelle hood, in marina blue, which I will detail in “Malibupdate”. (there is a 1966 specific rust issue that makes good hoods scarce)
